Distribution Operations Supervisor

Monitor and evaluate the performance of distribution operations using metrics, KPIs, and data analysis. Develop and implement distribution strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Manage and coordinate the activities of the distribution team, scheduling shifts, organizing training programs, and providing feedback. Collaborate with other department managers to integrate logistics with business systems, and to address customer service and shipping issues. Maintain health and safety standards within the work environment, training staff in safety protocols, and ensuring all equipment is routinely maintained. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in distribution, warehousing, or logistics, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong understanding of distribution and logistical processes and best practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team. Exceptional knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and use software to track, design, and monitor distribution operations. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deal with individuals at all levels within the organization and with external parties.
