ROLE AT A GLANCE:

The major function of Nutrition Training & Education Supervisor is responsible for the full spectrum of Product Marketing functions, including staff and members’ education, marketing research, product launch and product related activities including promotions and post-promotion analysis. In terms of product training, the person is responsible for planning and implementing training programs on products as approved by corporate, and has to make sure the training materials used by the distributors meet legal requirement.

 

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

 

  1. Product Training
  • Responsible for designing and developing product trainings for internal staff and members

 

  1. Distributor Training
  • Ensure distributors are using corporate approved materials for internal trainings
  • Engage in Train the Trainer program for developing distributor trainers

 

  1. Product Marketing
  • Collect up-to-date and useful marketing information including pricing, competitors’ information for product launch
  • Implement new product launch and promotion plan and develop marketing collaterals
  • Post analysis: Study the effectiveness of each product promotion
  • Identify new market, product opportunity
  • Collect and analyze market status, pricing, competitors’ information, and distributors’ feedback

 

  1. Literature
  • Localize product literatures and organize the layout, content, work with design house to ensure all the content are accurate to meet the legal requirement and above Herbalife’s quality and standard
  • Review and update existing literatures and promote slow moving items

 

 

TEAM DYNAMICS:  

  • Interacts with all levels throughout organization; distributors, customers, and vendors.

 

LEADERSHIP AND SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The person has to execute product launch activities including promotions and trainings. In terms of product marketing, he/she has to lead the team to identify the cutting edge of Herbalife products so as to better market the brand and the products.

 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS: (Skills, background, and experience required for success)

 

Education

  • University graduate or equivalent, preferred in Food Science or nutrition related discipline

 

 

Experience

  • Min. 5 years of experience at a supervisory position from Product Marketing
  • Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English
  • Self-motivated, mature and able to work independently as well as be a team player

 

Skills/Certifications

  • Proficient with MS office
  • Strong customer and results oriented, with ability to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity
