Description

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
- Monitor and control access at the gatehouse entry point.
- Verify identification and authorize entry of residents, guests, contractors, vendors, and visitors.
- Enforce community access control policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate visitor logs and access records.
- Report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
- Greet residents and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide directions, assistance, and information when appropriate.
- Maintain positive relationships with residents, guests, management, and staff.
- Address concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Monitor property activity and report security concerns promptly.
- Respond to incidents and follow established security procedures.
- Observe and report safety hazards, suspicious behavior, and policy violations.
- Assist emergency responders and management during incidents when required.
- Maintain situational awareness and vigilance throughout the shift.
- Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs).
- Document incidents, visitor activity, and unusual occurrences.
- Maintain accurate and detailed written reports.
- Utilize security software, email, and other computer-based systems as required.
- Valid Florida Class "D" Security License required.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
- Previous gatehouse, access control, residential, HOA, condominium, or customer service experience is highly desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
- Must possess reliable transportation.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to regular attendance.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must successfully complete all pre-employment screening requirements.
- Report to work on time and prepared for duty.
- Complete all assigned shifts as scheduled.
- Notify management promptly of any attendance-related issues.
- Demonstrate reliability and professionalism in meeting scheduling commitments.
- Valid Florida Class "D" Security License.
- Social Security Card.

- Must successfully pass a criminal background screening.
- Must successfully pass a drug screening, if required by client or company policy.
- Must comply with all company policies, procedures, and client-specific requirements.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to observe and monitor activity continuously throughout the shift.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and by telephone or radio.
- Ability to respond appropriately during emergency situations.
