This position involves teaching elementary students (PreK-8) at Dwight Rich School of the Arts within the Lansing School District. In the pursuit of our mission, we are hiring Instructional Coaches. Instructional Coaches enhance student achievement by supporting teachers and teams. Using research-based models, they collaborate with educators to set clear goals and develop action plans addressing instructional needs. Coaches assist with resource gathering, model best practices, analyze data, and monitor progress. They provide professional development aligned with district goals. Successful coaches foster true partnerships, learning alongside teachers through a flexible and adaptable coaching process. Keeping detailed records, they collaborate with peers to improve teaching practices continuously. Coaches receive ongoing training for professional growth.
