Civil Engineering Specialist

STV is seeking an Civil Engineering Specialist for our Building group in Philadelphia or Douglassville, Pennsylvania.

The Civil Engineering Specialist will play a key role in the planning, design, and execution of various civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1+ years of hands-on experience in civil engineering. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate various project elements seamlessly.

· Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for accuracy and compliance.

· Prepare construction documents, permit packages, and support construction services.

· Prepare design calculations and technical reports.

· Utilize design software (AutoCAD and Civil 3D) to create construction drawings, layouts, and models for land development projects.

· Develop solutions for site layouts, stormwater management, grading, utilities, and erosion/sediment control.

· Review project RFI’s and submittals.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

· EIT (Engineer-in-Training) is preferred but not required.

·· Minimum of 1+ years of experience in civil engineering.

· Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

· Familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.

· Commitment to staying abreast of industry trends and incorporating innovative solutions into projects.

Compensation Range:

$75,656.68 - $86,464.77
