Reconstruction Project Manager

Location: King of Prussia, PA

Position Summary

Our Client is seeking a hands-on Reconstruction Project Manager to oversee property repair and renovation projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering construction services for residential and commercial properties impacted by weather, fire, or water damage. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can successfully manage multiple projects while maintaining quality, timelines, and customer satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of residential and commercial reconstruction projects from planning through completion

• Coordinate daily operations with field supervisors, subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors to ensure projects run efficiently and meet expectations

• Develop project schedules, monitor timelines, and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget

• Conduct regular job site visits to verify safety compliance, workmanship quality, and adherence to plans and local building regulations

• Maintain accurate project documentation including contracts, approvals, material orders, progress photos, and change orders

• Communicate effectively with property owners, internal teams, and insurance representatives throughout the project lifecycle

• Lead daily team meetings and end-of-project reviews to ensure alignment, accountability, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 2+ years of experience managing construction, remodeling, or restoration projects

• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Project Management certification (PMP or similar) is a plus but not required

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, and Word

• Experience with Xactimate, XactAnalysis, and DASH is highly preferred

• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and job site safety compliance

• Ability to pass background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment

Work Conditions & Physical Demands

• Work may be performed in environments exposed to varying weather conditions, heat, and noise

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work at varying heights

• Physical requirements include climbing ladders, bending, lifting, and traveling between job sites as needed
