Job Overview
The purpose of the Production Support Senior role is to lead work within the cell to ensure daily tasks are completed through engaging with co-workers around the safety, quality, delivery and production goals. This role will also serve as back-up Assistant Production Supervisor.
Highlights of your role
- Positively partner with work cell associates and management to identify improvement opportunities, change partner.
- Lead the daily work cell huddle through the review of metrics, challenging the cell to meet and exceed goals.
- Promote a safe work environment.
- Promote and leverage our quality guidelines to ensure a quality product.
- Welcome transfers and new employees to the work cell.
- Lead workload balancing decision-making within the work cell.
- Encourage employees: assist in resolving issues as they occur to keep production moving.
- Learn the Assistant Production Supervisor role and serve as back-up to Front Line Management.
