About the Role
The Investment Consultant role shall ensure the effective management of the company's investment funds by assisting in delivering investment solutions and facilitating fund manager oversight.The Investment Consultant shall endeavor in contributing to the company’s income targets and all other strategic goals and, in the process, shall:
1. Ensure that all investment management decisions, activities, and processes will result in the company sustainably achieving its income targets and strategic goals.
2. Facilitate onboarding of new investment outlets, funds, and financial instruments such as but not limited to financial derivatives.
3. Represent the investment management function in the preparation of the Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) review to ensure that mandates are still aligned with company strategy.
4. Liaise with asset managers and provide oversight in the conduct of their fund management activities.
5. Be responsible for ensuring that all investment activities are compliant with internal standards set out for Investment Management as well as with local regulations
