About the Role:
We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and experienced Optician or Optical Sales Associate to join this well-established team at a physician-owned, private practice. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, enjoys assisting patients with eyewear selection, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greets patients and assists them in selecting eyeglass frames and lenses.
- Provides expert advice on lens options, coatings, and frame styles.
- Takes accurate measurements for eyeglasses (PD, segment height, etc.) and ensures a proper fit.
- Processes eyewear orders, checks in and inspects new glasses, and completes adjustments and repairs.
- Educates patients on eyewear options, lens technologies, and proper care for glasses and contacts.
- Maintains accurate records of purchases and patient information.
- Supports daily office functions and keeps the optical area clean and organized.
