Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing a caseload of commercial auto and general liability claims from inception to resolution.
- Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate claims to ensure fair and timely settlements for policyholders while effectively managing costs and exposures for the insurance carrier.
- Interpret general liability insurance policies to determine coverage and liability.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and other involved parties to achieve fair and cost-effective resolutions.
- Evaluate settlement options and make recommendations based on liability exposure and policy provisions.
Salary/Benefits
- $80,000 - $90,000+/year (Depending on Experience)
- Annual bonus of up to $5,000
- Medical benefits and 401(K)
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience handling commercial auto and general liability/bodily injury claims (slip & falls, premise, etc.)
- Previous experience handling litigated claims
- As many state adjuster's licenses as possible
- Experience handling claims for property management (i.e. apartment complexes) is required
