Description
Duties
- Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure continuity of instruction.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Provide support in tutoring students as needed, focusing on individual learning needs.
- Assist in curriculum development by offering feedback on lesson effectiveness and student engagement.
- Engage with children in various activities that promote learning and social interaction.
- Foster a nurturing atmosphere that encourages children’s growth and development, particularly in preschool or Montessori settings.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with private school environments is a plus.
- Experience in behavior management techniques to support diverse learners.
- Background in tutoring or educational support roles is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Montessori methods or preschool education is advantageous but not required.
- Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
