About the Opportunity:
We’re looking for an experienced Avionics Manager to lead our shop floor operations while staying hands-on with advanced avionics work. In this role, you’ll oversee daily operations, mentor technicians, troubleshoot complex systems, and help deliver exceptional results for corporate and private aircraft customers. Responsibilities:
- Lead daily shop operations and serve as acting General Manager when needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex avionics installation issues.
- Train, mentor, and develop avionics technicians.
- Manage team performance, attendance, and compliance.
- Ensure FAA, manufacturer, and customer quality standards are met.
- Implement corrective actions and maintain accurate records.
- Install, repair, and troubleshoot avionics systems.
- Build strong relationships with customers and support an exceptional client experience.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in general aviation or avionics.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting corporate and private aircraft avionics.
- Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and engineering drawings.
- Experience installing harnesses and programming avionics systems.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain airport clearance.
- Preferred experience with Garmin, Honeywell, pitot-static testing, cabin entertainment, and Wi-Fi systems.
