About the Position
We are looking for a physician -- distinguished by his or her compassion, professional acumen, and leadership skills -- to run an Ember Health facility. This individual will provide direct patient care, coordinate long term care with a network of mental health providers, and lead the operations of an exceptional clinical team. They will be fully supported by Ember Health’s central staff, operating systems, and standard of care.
This is a temporary Clinical Director opportunity providing leave coverage from approximately December through February. Onboarding will take place during October and November, with timing tailored around the selected candidate's availability. Our strong preference is to hire a physician who can provide full-time coverage during the leave period, with salary and benefits provided for the duration of the assignment. There will also be opportunities to work with Ember on a per diem basis before and/or after the leave coverage concludes.
The clinic schedule is:
- Mondays & Thursdays: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
We strongly encourage physicians who can commit to this full time schedule to apply. However, we also welcome applications from physicians who can provide consistent daytime coverage on a part-time basis during this period. Depending on candidate availability and our staffing needs, we may be able to accommodate a reduced schedule with prorated compensation.
Credentials
Acceptable candidates must have or be able to acquire a State Medical License. Any type of MD or DO who is comfortable with clinical monitoring, IV placement, and infusion management would be eligible for the role. Example disciplines include Emergency Medicine, Anesthesiology, Intensive Care, or Internal Medicine. Psychiatrists would be considered if they have experience and comfort with the clinical requirements of the role.
