Web Designer - RSI

Location: Toronto, Ontario 

Status: Full-time, Temporary Opportunity for up to 12 months  

Salary Range: The annual salary for this position ranges from $64,500 - $96,500. Exact compensation may vary based on qualification, experience, and education.

We are looking for a Temporary Web Designer to help grow our business and contribute to our future.  

In this role, you will help shape the user experience of our Online Property Tax Analysis (OPTA) platform and related applications by translating business and user needs into intuitive, visually engaging, and functional web experiences. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in designing, testing, and continuously improving digital products that deliver value to our users. 

What You’ll Do:  

• Gather and analyze business and user requirements, translating them into clear, documented solutions. 

• Design intuitive website and application experiences, including page layouts, navigation, controls, and user interfaces. 

• Create mock-ups, wireframes, and storyboards to demonstrate functionality and user experience. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop and refine designs that meet business and user needs. 

• Conduct testing of websites and internal applications, including workflows, data validation, usability, and quality assurance. 

• Gather user feedback and work with the team to identify enhancements and implement improvements. 

• Maintain design standards and style guides to ensure consistent user experience across applications and websites. 

What You’ll Need: 

• 3+ years of experience in web design, UI/UX design, web development, or website management. 

• Experience using CMS platforms to create and manage web content. 

• Knowledge of website design principles, web services, and APIs. 

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel. 

• Strong communication and collaboration skills. 

• A degree or diploma in Design, Fine Arts, Digital Media, or a related field is considered an asset. 

Nice to Have 

• Experience with Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, Miro, and code editors. 

• Knowledge of Azure and wireframing/prototyping tools. 

• Quality assurance or software testing experience.
