Job Description

ROLE: Director, Campaign and Account Management

This role owns stakeholder relationships and business-facing account strategy — meaning the translation of partner goals, priorities, and needs into timelines, levels of support, sequencing, and success measures.  This role owns internal & external stakeholder relationships, alignment to brand and internal business priorities, intake and prioritization conversations, translation of campaign and business needs into campaign timelines & support, and partner satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Director, Campaign and Account Management

Brand & Business Marketing Alignment / Senior Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a marketing relationship lead for AEGM brands, internal business line priorities, and priority projects.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and internal stakeholders, positioning Marketing as a proactive strategic partner that reduces friction and helps advance business outcomes.
  • Develop a strong understanding of stakeholder goals, audience needs, revenue drivers, timelines, risks, decision-making dynamics, and expectations of Marketing.
  • Translate brand, campaign, and business priorities into clear marketing needs, support recommendations, briefs, success measures, and aligned next steps.
  • Lead strategic intake and prioritization discussions to clarify objectives, surface tradeoffs, and align Marketing resources to the highest-value opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities for Marketing to create greater business impact through audience development, merchandising, lifecycle, paid, earned, and cross-platform support.
  • Partner with Operations and Project Management to ensure approved priorities are routed into the appropriate workflows, timelines, and delivery paths.

Intake, Prioritization & Business Planning

  • Lead intake and prioritization conversations for supported business areas, ensuring requests are clearly defined, strategically assessed, and aligned to business impact, available resources, timing, and marketing priorities.
  • Ensure stakeholder needs are translated into clear briefs, scopes, success measures, decision points, and recommended paths forward for cross-functional marketing teams.
  • Partner with Operations to ensure intake, prioritization, workflow, and reporting processes are consistent, scalable, and visible across teams.
  • Use post-campaign recaps, stakeholder feedback, and recurring request patterns to identify trends, opportunities, pain points, and process improvements.
  • Manage expectation-setting with stakeholders, including tradeoffs, dependencies, risks, and recommended approaches when resources, priorities, or timelines are constrained.

Marketing Planning & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Lead the development of business-facing marketing plans that connect brand, campaign, and internal business priorities to the appropriate marketing channels, resources, and support teams.
  • Coordinate with Growth Marketing, Brand, Digital, Product, Analytics, Finance, Creative, Operations, and other teams to ensure plans are strategically aligned, actionable, and appropriately supported.
  • Guide stakeholders and cross-functional teams through key planning moments, including brief development, stakeholder reviews, launch readiness discussions, post-launch recaps, and optimization opportunities.
  • Ensure stakeholder-facing deliverables, recommendations, and updates are clear, timely, and connected to the business objective.
  • Maintain alignment between business priorities and Marketing’s ability to support them, escalating tradeoffs, risks, or resource constraints as needed.

Business Insights, Communication & Performance Narratives

  • Create clear brand, campaign, and business priority narratives, executive updates, recaps, and recommendations that connect marketing activity to stakeholder needs, audience opportunities, business priorities, and next steps.
  • Partner with Analytics, Finance, Growth Marketing, and Operations to surface relevant performance indicators, stakeholder trends, risks, and opportunity areas.
  • Use data, stakeholder feedback, and market context to identify patterns across brands, campaigns, and business areas that can inform stronger planning, prioritization, and resource discussions.
  • Maintain visibility into stakeholder satisfaction, upcoming needs, recurring pain points, and emerging business opportunities.

Team Leadership, Service Standards & Stakeholder Onboarding

  • Lead and develop account management talent, fostering a culture of strategic thinking, accountability, proactive communication, inclusion, and business partnership.
  • Define service standards, communication expectations, escalation paths, and account management best practices that create a consistent stakeholder experience.
  • Partner with Operations to onboard new stakeholders, team members, or business areas into Marketing’s ways of working, including how requests are submitted, prioritized, briefed, tracked, and reviewed.
  • Stay current on media, entertainment, streaming, digital marketing, stakeholder management, and marketing planning best practices, translating relevant insights into practical improvements for AEGM.

REQUIREMENTS: Director, Campaign and Account Management

  • 7-10 years of experience in account management, partnership marketing, client services, integrated marketing, marketing strategy, media / entertainment, streaming, digital marketing, or a related function.
  • Knowledge of media, entertainment, streaming, FAST, AVOD, SVOD, DTO, DTC, digital publishing, or multiplatform distribution businesses preferred.
