Description
The Telematics Coordinator is a full-time member of the PACS Auto & Fleet team, sitting within the Telematics & Technology function and reporting directly to the Telematics & Technology Specialist. This role is responsible for ensuring the telematics platform operates effectively across a national portfolio of post-acute care, senior living, and hospice facilities — monitoring safety events, maintaining driver and account compliance, and supporting driver app adoption for new and existing drivers. This is a detail-oriented, high-accountability role for someone who is comfortable working within data-driven platforms, takes safety seriously, and excels at proactive follow-through in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties
Safety Event Management
Monitor telematics safety event queues daily across all PACS facilities, reviewing dashcam footage and telematics data for flagged driving behaviors.
Identify serious events, repeat offenders, and trending safety concerns — escalating to the Telematics & Technology Specialist and Regional Auto Program Managers as appropriate.
Assign driver coaching events within the telematics platform and track completion by facility administrators.
Maintain accurate records of safety event volume, resolution status, and corrective action outcomes.
Generate weekly and monthly safety event reports for program leadership.
Driver App Training & Adoption
Deliver training on the telematics driver app to new and existing drivers across PACS facilities, ensuring each driver understands how to log in, navigate the platform, and respond to coaching events.
Support facility administrators and drivers with driver app questions, login issues, and platform navigation.
Track driver app adoption across facilities, identifying those with low engagement and coordinating follow-up training as needed.
Partner with Regional Auto Program Managers to ensure driver app utilization is maintained on an ongoing basis across all facilities.
Device Compliance & Health Monitoring
Monitor telematics device connectivity and health across the full fleet — identifying offline devices, connectivity issues, and cameras requiring attention.
Maintain a real-time compliance tracker for device status and outstanding action items by facility.
Escalate persistent technical issues to the Telematics & Technology Specialist for resolution.
User & Account Management
Create and manage driver app accounts and fleet administrator accounts for new facilities and drivers across the portfolio.
Develop and maintain a scalable process for distributing driver login credentials to facilities.
Audit existing accounts regularly for accuracy, active status, and proper role assignments.
Support facility administrators with account resets and platform access questions.
Facility Follow-Up & Compliance Support
Serve as a primary follow-up contact for telematics-related compliance items, working directly with Regional Program Managers
Track onboarding progress for new facilities including account creation, driver app activation, and first login confirmation.
Partner with Regional Auto Program Managers to ensure telematics compliance is achieved and maintained within onboarding timelines and on an ongoing basis.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer, reviewing telematics data, managing platform dashboards, and performing compliance tracking tasks.
Frequent use of hands and wrists to operate computers, phones, and standard office equipment.
Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and via video and electronic platforms with facility staff, drivers, and program leadership.
Sustained concentration and attention to detail required when reviewing safety event footage and managing high volumes of compliance data.
Ability to occasionally lift or carry materials and equipment weighing up to 20 pounds.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
2+ years of experience in a data coordination, operations coordination, fleet operations, or technology platform support role required.
Strong attention to detail with experience managing high volumes of data, tasks, or cases simultaneously required.
Comfortable working within software platforms and dashboards — able to learn new systems quickly required.
Excellent follow-through and organizational skills with a consistent, proactive approach to outreach and tracking required.
Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with facility staff required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Outlook) required.
Experience with a telematics, fleet management, or dashcam platform preferred.
