Role: Veterinary Assistant & Kennel TechnicianStatus: Part-timeSalary: $17-$20 per hourSchedule: Tuesdays and Fridays (full-day shifts with a lunch break), plus boarding cat care on Saturday and Sunday mornings and evenings

What Our Veterinary Assistants Do

• Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatments
• Safely handle and restrain patients during examinations and procedures
• Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas for appointments
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain hospital equipment and workspaces
• Monitor and care for boarding cats, ensuring their comfort and well-being
• Feed, medicate as directed, and provide enrichment for boarding patients
• Observe patients for changes in behavior or health and report concerns to the medical team
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with teammates
• Help create a clean, organized, and welcoming hospital environment
