Heavy Duty Technician – Mobile Equipment - 7/7 Schedule

We offer competitive wages with a full benefits plan, as well as optional RSP plans.The OpportunityWe are currently looking to hire a Heavy Duty Technician for our manufacturing facilities in Mitsue Industrial Park. Job duties include:Repairs and maintains mobile equipmentOperates mobile equipment for testing and transportation purposesOperates a service truck at various yard locations as requiredOrganizes parts and maintains inventory levelsCompletes required paperwork including work orders, maintenance records, and safety documentsCleans work areas Working Conditions:Exposed to noise, dust, falling debris, moving machinery, weather extremes, slipping/tripping hazards, and working at heightsExcellent shop conditions with occasional outdoor, emergency breakdownsLifting heavy, awkward objects and climbing on equipment is frequently requiredRequired use of PPE appropriate for the task and working conditionsMust Haves:A solid work ethic, be eager to learn, and be a team playerJourneyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certificateExperience repairing and maintaining heavy mobile equipment (Caterpillar, Taylor, Liebherr etc.)5+ years of related experienceA valid class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation to Mitsue Industrial ParkDesire to work overtime as neededProficient written and verbal communication skillsAvailable Shift Schedules:Dayshift, 7 days on and 7 days off; with camp rooms are available for non-local candidates44 hours Monday to Friday, DayshiftIf this position sounds like a fit for you, please apply directly through the portal.We thank all candidates for their interest; only candidates selected to advance in our recruitment process will be contacted.
