About this Role:
As a BIM Modeler, you will be a key technical contributor within a small, agile team dedicated to revolutionizing how large organizations manage their built environment through the integration of BIM and lifecycle management processes. In this role, you will take ownership of complex model development and enforce modelling standards. You will work at the intersection of model authoring, reality capture, digital twin technology, and AI-augmented workflows, ensuring that all outputs are accurate, compliant, and operationally meaningful for asset-intensive clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and author complex BIM models from 3D scans and 2D drawings using advanced Owner-side BIM methods
- Review and validate models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and conformance to project and organizational standards
- Define and maintain spatial hierarchies including zones, suites, departments, and floors across active models
- Perform model updates and gap-filling exercises, determining when data can be inferred versus when re-capture or surveying is required
- Support the development and maintenance of team BIM standards, templates, and workflows
- Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to integrate BIM outputs with lifecycle management processes
- Maintain awareness of emerging trends in BIM, reality capture, and digital twin technology, contributing ideas for continuous improvement
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related building field (required)
- 2+ years of hands-on BIM modelling experience with a demonstrated track record of successful project delivery
- Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit, including family creation and template management
- Strong knowledge of BIM standards including ISO 19650, COBie, and IFC, and experience applying them to project deliverables
- Solid understanding of reality capture methodologies including laser scanning and photogrammetry, with experience evaluating scan-to-BIM outputs
- Experience with digital twin platforms or lifecycle management software such as Autodesk Tandem, IBM Maximo, or Archibus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Additional Requirements / Skills / Working Hours / Compensation Range
- The candidate must be willing to work from the Bangalore office as and when required
