Job Description
The Sr Tech Lead is a technical expert responsible for ensuring high availability of a suite of applications in the production environment. You will participate/lead technical discussions and prioritize work streams during the service restoration process. You will lead root cause analysis, assess potential solutions and work with application and Infrastructure technology subject matter experts to introduce permanent fixes in the production environment. You will review and interrogate changes being introduced into the production environment to assess potential risk to the applications. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise-scale DevOps platforms and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation, release management, DevSecOps, and platform engineering, with expertise in building and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable software delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines and deployment frameworks.
- Administer, support, and optimize the organization's DevOps toolchain and development platforms.
- Develop automation solutions and reusable frameworks to improve operational efficiency and developer productivity.
- Implement and promote DevSecOps best practices, ensuring security and quality are embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Establish and enforce source control, branching, release management, and deployment standards.
- Integrate code quality, security scanning, artifact management, and compliance controls into CI/CD workflows.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and QA teams to streamline software delivery and improve platform reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline, deployment, and platform-related issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across DevOps processes, tooling, and governance.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related disciplines.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory, JFrog Xray, Jira, and Confluence.
- Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise CI/CD solutions and deployment automation frameworks.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Proven experience with source control management, branching strategies, repository administration, and release management processes.
- Strong understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps principles, CI/CD architecture, software delivery lifecycle (SDLC), artifact management, security and vulnerability management, platform governance, and compliance controls.
- Experience integrating quality gates, security scanning, and compliance requirements into automated deployment pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale DevOps platforms in regulated environments, preferably within financial services.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, governance, security, and risk management practices.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
