You will have end‑to‑end ownership of enterprise trust, consent, and preference capabilities. Reporting to the Lead, Consumer Data & Trust Operations, you will own the execution, performance, and maturity of consent and trust capabilities that enable compliant, scalable data activation and personalization. The role partners with Privacy, Legal, Security, IT, and Marketing Technology leaders to ensure trust is embedded by design into platforms, processes, and decision‑making. While this role doesn't currently have any direct reports, there will be one direct report in the near future.

Major Responsibilities:

Trust & Consent Ownership

  • Own the enterprise consent and preference management capability, including strategy execution, operating model design, and ongoing optimization.

  • Set standards and accountability for how consent and preferences are captured, managed, enforced, and audited across all consumer touchpoints.

  • Act as the designated business owner for consent and trust platforms (e.g., OneTrust), defining roadmaps, requirements, and success measures.

  • Serve as the final operational decision authority for consent and trustrelated issues, risks, and escalations.

Platform & Capability Leadership

  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and evolution of consent and trust platforms, with deep ownership of OneTrust capabilities and integrations.

  • Partner with IT and Marketing Technology to embed consent enforcement into CRM, CDP, CMP, marketing automation, and activation workflows.

  • Drive adoption and correct usage of consent tools and processes across marketing, digital, and data teams.

  • Evaluate new technologies, features, and regulatory needs, translating them into platform and process enhancements.

Operational Excellence & Risk Management

  • Establish and own KPIs, controls, and monitoring for consent compliance, data usage risk, and operational effectiveness.

  • Proactively identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies in trust operations and lead remediation efforts.

  • Ensure documentation, operating procedures, and audit readiness for consent and trust processes.

  • Embed continuous improvement practices to scale trust operations alongside business growth and personalization needs.

Enterprise Partnership & Influence

  • Partner as a peer with Privacy, Legal, Security, Risk, and Marketing leaders to operationalize regulatory and policy requirements.

  • Influence enterprise decisionmaking by clearly articulating tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations related to data use and consent.

  • Represent trust and consent operations in enterprise forums, initiatives, and technology governance bodies.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and develop trust and consent professionals (e.g., Consent Analyst), establishing clear ownership, expectations, and accountability.

  • Build a highperforming team that operates with autonomy, rigor, and a strong ownership mindset.

  • Coach team members to develop deep platform expertise (including OneTrust) and strong operational judgment.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • Relevant platform or domain certifications preferred (e.g. CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, AIGP, data governance, etc.)

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, social sciences, or related field.

Experience Required:

  • 8+ years of experience in trust operations, consent management, privacy operations, marketing technology, or data governance.

  • Demonstrated experience owning and leading enterprisescale consent and preference management capabilities.

  • Prior accountability for platform ownership, operating models, and outcomes (not advisory or support roles).

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams or major operational domains.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Deep, handson expertise with OneTrust, including consent, preference, and privacy modules.

  • OneTrust certifications strongly preferred (e.g., OneTrust Professional, Consent & Preferences, or equivalent).

  • Strong understanding of consent, privacy, and trust principles as applied to marketing and data ecosystems.

  • Proven ability to translate regulatory and policy requirements into durable, scalable operating models.

  • Executivelevel communication and influence skills with the ability to make and defend decisions.

  • High ownership mindset with comfort operating as a business and capability owner.

  • Highly collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable operating in complex, matrixed organizations

Preferred:

  • Blend of marketing technology, privacy, data governance, and digital/web operations experience.
