Assembler III - Bows and Bays (UCA - Day and Evening Shift)

Job Overview

Perform duties associated with producing window and door products that customers perceive as having high quality and value.

Highlights of your role

• Responsible for assembly of quality product in accordance with standard work procedures
• Perform work that is repetitive in nature
• Use of machinery and essential tools including electric, manual, and air tools
• Use of essential measuring equipment
• Ability to read labels and customer orders
• Cross-Trained to work in multiple work stations and have demonstrated an ability to move easily from one work center to another and maintain standards of quality and
• Ability to perform detailed craft work
• Effectively working with others
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Dependable attendance
• Additional duties as assigned

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

• Standing and/or walking for 8 - 10 hours a day
• Performing repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions
• Working at an established production rate pace entailing pushing and/or pulling of materials up to 50 pounds
• Lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds occasionally and up to 35 pounds frequently, team lifting - may be required for heavier lifting
• Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and turning
• Climbing stairs and/or ladders and working in elevated areas

Also want to make sure you have

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• General experience with computers is preferred

Compensation

$19.50 - $26.50 per hour
