What you will do

The Quality Specialist I (Plant Quality) will review batch record documentation related to the manufacturing and testing of bulk work in process and finished products. They will perform batch release activities (usage decision in SAP) for Bulk products and Finished Goods for all markets. They will create Certificate of Compliance/Certificate of Analysis. They will support shop floor quality support to Operations, and add Quality assessments in CMMS, as required.

The Quality Specialist I (Plant Quality) will ensure compliance with internal specifications, regulatory and corporate policies, and work with business partners to support the investigation of quality events through the use of RCPS principles.  They will also identify and implement continuous improvement projects, perform quality audits of production activities (including but not limited to Standards of Cleanliness, Monthly Logbook Audits, Inspector Certification Performance Certifications), and provide approval of in-run repackaging activities, as required.

Please note: There are two 12-month contract openings available. One position supports the afternoon shift (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM) and the other supports the night shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM). Candidates must be available to work the assigned shift schedule.

Required Qualifications

  • University/Bachelors Degree in Science or a related discipline
  • 2-3 years related experience in quality assurance or similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with diverse teams

What’s in it for you

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:$53,000.00 - $86,135.00

This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
