Job Description
Saint Luke’s in Kansas City is actively seeking a dedicated hospitalist to join our team at our critical access hospitals in Garnett and Iola, Kansas. These facilities, with 12 and 15 beds respectively, play a vital role in providing care to the communities of Allen and Anderson County.
About the position
Quality, compassionate care is provided by the physician with the support of APP’s and an excellent team of nurses
Telemedicine services are provided by hospitalists from Saint Luke’s in Kansas City
Option to work a 7-on-7-off schedule or other flexible schedule
12-hour shifts covering adult patients
An on-call eHospitalist provides call coverage/backup for adult admissions after hours; no night call is required
Fully integrated Epic EMR
Full array of specialist support with a built-in transfer program directly to Saint Luke’s Hospital, a 600-bed tertiary care hospital located 90 miles away in Kansas City, MO
The ideal candidate is a BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician with excellent inpatient skills
