Group Financial Controller

We are looking for a  

Group Financial Controller

to oversee subsidiary reporting process to the Group and prepare consolidation. In this role, the person works as part of group controlling team and collaborates with business line and sales area controllers and legal entity controllers/accountants across the world. The role is based in Espoo, Finland.    

Main responsibilities and tasks:

• Participates in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports according to IFRS 

• Supports end users in monthly closing process

• Participates in the follow-up and reconciliation of intercompany items in monthly, quarterly and annual closings

• Participates in internal margin eliminations

• Participates in deployment of new IFRS standards

• Participates in development of financial reporting tools, systems and reporting processes

• Participates in internal control self-assessment process and development

• Participates in training the finance organization in accounting topics

• Participates in group audit

• Participates in updating group accounting manual, and supporting instructions

To shine in this position, we expect you to have:  

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration or similar

• Minimum of 3 years of working experience in Group consolidation according to IFRS

• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards

• Understanding of financial closing and consolidation processes

• Experience with Group consolidation and tools

• Excellent spoken and written skills in English and Finnish
