About the role
We are looking for a IT Site Leader who will be responsible for providing customer-focused end user support at our Charlotte office.
This is a great opportunity for someone who possesses advanced knowledge of Microsoft O365 digital solutions including Power platform to contribute across all phases of the software development life cycle.
Reporting to the Manager Collaborative Applications and working in a collaborative community, a challenging and exciting environment within the Information Technology department, you will:
- Be responsible for ensuring that all Rio Tinto Standards for technology are met.
- Be responsible for communicating effectively with Rio Tinto colleagues in both technical and non-technical manner.
- Be the primary resource to monitor and collect feedback provided for site services and support for the Charlotte location.
- Identify areas and processes within the support business area where Power Platform and Microsoft O365 can be better leveraged and facilitate process improvement
- Understand business area opportunities to provide solutions by applying problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Perform installs, moves, add and changes for Rio Tinto Standard Hardware and Software
About you
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Mobile Device Administration/Support- iOS/Android Intune
- Experience installing and supporting database and application servers, Windows PCs, and networking hardware (switches, routers, Wi-Fi).
- Thoroughly knowledgeable for all Microsoft Office O365 technologies as well as learning functions (Microsoft Learn).
- Understands Power Platform and app development processes.
- Proficient knowledge in the following disciplines required:
- Windows OS and Active Directory
- Endpoint and mobile device management
- IP networking and networking protocols
- Telephony and voicemail administration
- Teams/Live Event/Collaboration room administration, training, and support.
- Microsoft Office M365 Productivity Suite and related apps (Teams, Forms, Visio)
- Microsoft SCCM/Azure
