Job Summary:
Responsible for managing Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) aspects of construction projects, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule compliance. This role involves coordinating with stakeholders, supervising on-site progress, and resolving construction challenges to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project development, ensuring compliance with design principles, construction standards, and local regulations.
- Manage project quality, schedules, and costs in accordance with contract requirements.
- Conduct pre-construction assessments, including site conditions, utilities, and land preparation.
- Review drawings and oversee foundation works, structural construction, project completion, handover, and warranty management.
- Ensure on-site construction progress aligns with the approved project schedule, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
- Supervise construction quality, conduct inspections, and ensure material compliance with project specifications.
- Monitor construction costs, review site expenditures, and support overall cost management activities.
- Assist in contract administration, claims management, dispute resolution, and tendering processes as required.
- Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders, resolving design, quality, and site-related issues.
- Coordinate subcontractors and site activities, maintain construction records, and lead defect rectification activities through the Defects Liability Period.
Experience, skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in civil, structural, and construction project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of construction management, structural engineering principles, and technical drawings.
- Experience managing large-scale construction projects, ideally within data center, industrial, mission-critical, or infrastructure environments.
- Excellent organizational, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Effective communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work on-site and travel within Finland as required.
- Previous experience working in fast-growing, international environments.
- Fluent in English. Finnish language skills are considered an advantage.
