• Salary range: $22.71 - $31.66 per hour  

How you'll make an impact in this role

• Perform specialty pharmacy technician duties, including medication history, purchasing, inventory management, nuclear pharmacy support, and Patient Assistance Program (PAP) coordination.
• Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems; prepare specialty pharmacy orders and manage related inventory.
• Repackage bulk medications and receive, inspect, and store incoming pharmaceutical supplies.Serve as a liaison between the pharmacy, patients, and healthcare professionals by providing accurate and timely
• information.

 

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulationobtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. 
• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred
• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience,if applicable
