Position Overview

Citadel Security USA is seeking a dependable Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer to provide weekend security coverage at an assigned property in Rifle, Colorado. This position is well suited for individuals who remain attentive, communicate professionally, and take pride in maintaining a safe and orderly environment.
The successful candidate will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, observe site activity, and accurately document daily operations while representing Citadel Security USA with professionalism and integrity.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled foot patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, and surrounding grounds.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated access points to help ensure only authorized individuals enter the property.
• Observe the premises for unusual activity, safety concerns, property damage, or potential security risks.
• Respond appropriately to incidents while following established site procedures and company guidelines.
• Maintain a visible security presence to help discourage unauthorized activity and policy violations.
• Complete detailed daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs with accuracy.
• Communicate important information promptly to supervisors and designated client representatives.
• Follow all site-specific post orders, operational procedures, and company standards.
• Assist with maintaining a professional, welcoming, and secure environment for authorized occupants and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous security, customer service, or public-facing experience is beneficial but not required.
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
• Professional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to remain composed and make sound decisions during unexpected situations.
• Dependable attendance and the ability to work independently.
• Basic computer skills for completing electronic reports are preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Walk and stand for extended periods throughout each shift.
• Patrol indoor and outdoor areas in varying weather conditions.
• Maintain continuous awareness of surroundings while performing assigned duties.
• Occasionally bend, reach, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Respond quickly when situations require immediate attention.
