Teacher for Kindergarten-English in MAGDEBURG

Join the fun-loving team at KNIGGES KINDERGARTENSPRACHSCHULE® and help us immerse children aged 3-6 in a new language through play-based learning! As a freelance language teacher, you'll design and lead engaging lessons that are held exclusively in the target language, making language acquisition a joyful and holistic experience.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to be a natural with kids, possessing both experience and a passion for working with them. You'll be reliable and flexible, with an openness to new teaching and learning methods. You'll also be a fluent English speaker with near-native proficiency, and comfortable interacting with children in their native German language.

We're looking for someone who can take on small groups of up to 8 children and deliver a highly effective language course that's characterized by a variety of teaching methods and, most importantly, a sense of fun! ## Tasks

REQUIREMENTS

• You should have experience and enjoy working with children between the ages of 3 and 6.
• You should be highly reliable and flexible, and open to new teaching and learning methods.
• Your language skills should be on par with that of a native speaker, with little to no accent.
• Additionally, you should be familiar with the theoretical foundations of second language acquisition or be willing to learn about this area.
• You should be able to conduct highly effective language courses for small groups of 8 children, using a variety of methods that are engaging and fun for the kids.

You will need

• a **valid work and residence permit for the Federal Republic of Germany**,
• a clean criminal record certificate,
• and liability insurance.

Your German language skills:

• You should be able to respond to the children's native language and incorporate it into the course curriculum.

**MANDATORY MEASLES VACCINATION**

On March 1st 2020 a new law came into effect (Masernschutzgesetz)that forces us to check your immunity against measles (German: Masern).We need to see a document stating that you have these two vaccinations:

Choose one of these documents and keep it ready during the job interview

• A blood test (titer determination) {if you already had measles you are immune now} or
• International certificate of vaccination (Impfpass)
• doctor’s statement (If there is a contraindication for that vaccination)
• If you have an other document issued by a government that says you already proved your status.
