The MA may assist with clinical procedures, maintains accurate documentation, and provides administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. 📝 Position Overview

As a Medical Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to women in our community. You’ll support providers and patients throughout the visit while helping ensure smooth clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

🩺 Prepare patients for provider visits by completing the Advanced Standard Rooming process:

• Entering chief complaints

• Recording vital signs

• Reviewing medical history and allergies

• Performing thorough medication reconciliation

📋 Work within the Encounter Guide to help close care gaps, including:

• Fall risk and depression screenings

• Breast and colorectal cancer screenings

• Diabetic eye exams

💉 Recheck elevated blood pressures and complete documentation in Epic, including support for annual preventive visits.

🧪 Assist with in‑office testing such as:

• Blood draws

• EKGs

• Mental status exams

• Walking oxygen studies

• Point‑of‑care testing

• Administer vaccines and injections within scope of practice.

Schedule follow‑up appointments per office policy.

Collaborate closely with providers and the clinical care team to coordinate and monitor patient care plans.

✅ Qualifications

Medical Assistant (Non‑Certified):
🎓 High School Diploma or GED
🧠 BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire
🩺 Preferred: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience

Certified Medical Assistant:
🎓 High School Diploma or GED
📜 Active MA Certification/Registration (RMA, CCMA, or CMA)
🧠 BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire
