Cash Application-AR Specialist

Job Title: Cash Application-AR Specialist Location: Ultralag, Heredia - Hybrid Experience: Strong experience in cash application and collections, knowledge of AR processes    Summary: The Cash Application-AR Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of billing, plus cash application of payments, incl. researching, reconciling, recording, and applying payments, plus ad hoc collections. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with partners and clients.  Roles and Responsibilities: Cash application, reconciliation of payments, retrieving remittances, & similar functions. Assure timely application and collection of monies due to company Identify disputes and issues, work with cross-functional teams to resolve Maintain Cash App notes, folders, follow ups, bank contacts; backup team members Make recommendations to improve quality of cash reporting and Cash App procedures. Help with month-end, quarter-end, and Year-End reporting using NetSuite Ad Hoc project and reports, reconciliations, journal entries  Required Skills: Fluent in spoken and written English  Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accounting related field preferred. Strong experience in cash application and collections, knowledge of AR processes Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships. Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy  Effective team player with the ability to work well across functional teams and navigate high levels of ambiguity. Demonstrated resilience, with an ability to accept, learn from mistakes, and adapt quickly. Experience with NetSuite
