Title: Corporate Security Investigator, MEA Region
Location: Cairo, Egypt – Hybrid (3 days from Office, 2 days from Home)
Position Summary:
The Corporate Security Investigator will lead internal and external investigations across the MEA region, covering fraud, theft, conflicts of interest, bribery, ATM-related crime, and other security incidents involving NCR Atleos products, services, assets, or employees. The role requires strong investigative judgment, clear documentation, and the ability to work independently while partnering with internal teams, external investigators, customers, and law enforcement where required.
This position is responsible for managing investigations from planning through closure, presenting findings to management, recommending corrective actions, supporting policy compliance, delivering security guidance and training, and contributing to fraud and loss prevention initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, technically capable, comfortable working with minimal supervision, and able to travel or support escalations when needed.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Conduct internal and external investigations involving fraud, theft, conflicts of interest, bribery, ATM crime, security incidents, and other matters related to NCR Atleos products, services, assets, or employees.
Develop and execute investigation plans, maintain detailed case notes, document findings, manage evidence using proper chain of custody, prepare reports, and present results to management.
Liaise with internal stakeholders including Ethics & Compliance, Human Resources, Legal, Internal Audit, Global Physical Security, and business leaders on investigations and related security matters.
Coordinate with external investigators, customers, partners, and law enforcement on the prevention, detection, and investigation of fraud, ATM-related crime, and other security risks.
Provide security guidance to business units and customers on internal theft, external fraud, physical attacks, and risks related to NCR Atleos products and services.
Support the implementation of security policies and procedures, conduct compliance reviews, and provide policy advice and training to engineers and local business representatives.
Implement fraud and loss prevention initiatives and identify opportunities to strengthen investigative and security capabilities across the region.
Assess operational, financial, IT, physical, and security environments to identify risks and recommend practical mitigation actions, including site-specific security solutions where needed.
Determine root causes for issues raised through investigations, incident reports, and security reviews, and recommend corrective actions to reduce future risk.
Manage regional security incident reports and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are completed.
Support customer business deals by providing risk assessments for single-control countries and advising on relevant security considerations.
Participate in Global Security team meetings and collaborate with Internal Audit, Global Physical Security, and other teams to improve investigative outcomes and security controls.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study; advanced degree preferred.
Experience conducting investigations in a corporate environment.
Ability to independently conduct investigations with minimal supervision.
Fluency in English is required.
Strong note-taking, case documentation, and report-writing skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to conduct investigations that meet criminal and civil evidentiary standards.
Experience liaising with corporate investigators and law enforcement agencies.
Experience conducting risk assessments and recommending practical mitigation actions.
IT background with the ability to understand and assess the technical aspects of NCR Atleos products, services, and related security risks.
Comfortable working in an electronic case management and reporting environment.
Flexible work schedule and ability to travel; international travel may occasionally be required.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to present findings to senior executives.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across different levels, cultures, and time zones.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Requirements
Law enforcement experience.
Relevant security or investigative certifications such as CFE, CFCE, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CPP, PCI, or similar.
