Description
As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our internal employees and external clients. You will be the first point of contact for any IT-related issues and will play a crucial role in maintaining our company's technology infrastructure. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for computer hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications
- Monitor and maintain the company's network and server infrastructure
- Manage user accounts and access permissions
- Respond to and resolve help desk tickets in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement new technology solutions
- Conduct regular system backups and ensure data security and integrity
- Train employees on new technologies and software applications
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to recommend improvements and upgrades to the company's systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in a similar IT support role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems
- Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems
- Familiarity with virtualization and cloud computing technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- IT certifications (such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus
