Overview
In this role you will report to the Quality & Food Safety Manager where you will lead and collaborate on multiple quality and food safety related initiatives throughout the site. You will lead a team of hourly and salaried employees to develop their capability and drive results.

Total Compensation: $68,900 - $112,160
Responsibilities
- Ensure work is being conducted in a safe manner
- Ensure safety and quality of our products for our consumers
- Responsible for a team of salaried direct reports working as Preventative Control Monitors (PC Monitors) to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met for department
- Manage food safety agenda for the site
- Preventative control ownership on shift
- Communicating and collaborating cross-functionally to assist the team in solving operational problems
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory food safety standards
- Facilitate the implementation and compliance of policies and programs as they pertain to food safety
- Facilitate training and capability development on shift
Qualifications
- Graduated with a relevant degree or post-secondary designation
- Strong interest in quality & food safety
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, ability to support and drive food safety agenda with direct team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ideal candidates will have the willingness and flexibility to perform tasks as needed in support of the team’s business needs. Primary duties may change as Food Safety requirements change.
- Willing to travel up to 30% as required
