Your New Role and Responsibilities

The Performance, Capacity and Continuity Manager is responsible for the governance, execution, reporting, and continual improvement of Service Level Management, Capacity & Performance Management, IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM), Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and Disaster Recovery (DR) processes within a Federal Government ICT environment.

Working within an ITIL-aligned service management framework and leveraging ServiceNow as the enterprise ITSM platform, the role ensures ICT services meet agreed service levels, remain capable of supporting current and future business demand, and can recover effectively from service disruptions or disaster events.

The position collaborates closely with government stakeholders, service providers, technical teams, cyber security personnel, and vendors to ensure contractual obligations, operational performance targets, and continuity requirements are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and govern Service Level, Capacity & Performance, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery practices within an ITIL-aligned environment

  • Monitor service performance, identify risks and trends, and deliver Service Improvement Plans to enhance outcomes

  • Develop and maintain capacity plans, analyse utilisation trends, and forecast future service demand

  • Maintain and test Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans, including coordinating exercises and post-incident reviews

  • Engage stakeholders, facilitate governance forums, and support audits while ensuring compliance with PSPF, ISM and contractual obligations

About You and What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in IT Service Management within complex enterprise or Federal Government environments

  • Demonstrated expertise in Service Level Management, Capacity & Performance, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery

  • Strong capability in producing executive-level reports, dashboards, and governance artefacts (ideally using ServiceNow)

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a Baseline level security clearance.
