Job Description

As a Security Officer Circuit Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production-adjacent areas, administrative spaces, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and support access control measures for restricted areas and critical operations.
• Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed during routine operations or escalated situations, while documenting security-related observations and actions in a clear and timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
