Description
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
The Payroll Specialist plays an important role in delivering accurate, timely payroll services while providing exceptional support to employees across the organization. Working closely with Payroll and Human Resources, this position helps maintain payroll accuracy, supports compliance with payroll regulations and organizational policies, and contributes to continuous process improvements that strengthen payroll operations.
Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail, preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the accurate and timely processing of payroll by reviewing timesheets and resolving discrepancies.
- Coordinate payroll activities including deductions, garnishments, levies, tax-related processes, and additional compensation items.
- Partner with Human Resources to ensure employee, compensation, and benefits information is accurate and up to date.
- Assist with payroll audits and maintain documentation to support compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to employee payroll questions with professionalism, accuracy, and excellent customer service.
- Help identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and operational efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with payroll policies, regulations, and best practices.
Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High School/GED required
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as required for the role
