The role
As an intern in the SSHE Department, your ideas will drive impact.
You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting Health, Safety & Environment (SHE) activities, with a focus on training program creation, coordination of safety learning initiatives, and management of SHE documentation. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to compliance, employee engagement, and continuous improvement of safety practices.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Health & Safety initiatives across the Global TMICC
Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Assist in organizing security, safety, health and environmental training programs
Contribute to the development, review, and updating of Health & Safety documentation, procedures, and communication materials.
Identify opportunities to improve processes through digitalization, automation, and data-driven insights to enhance Health & Safety performance.
We're Looking For Someone Who
You are available for 5 to 6 months starting September 2026 (minimum 32 hours/week).
You are currently enrolled in an HBO Bachelor’s (3rd or 4th year) or Master’s program in Safety Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
You have a strong interest in Health, Safety, and Wellbeing within a manufacturing or office environment.
You possess strong organizational, project coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
You are comfortable working with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
You are curious, proactive, and eager to learn, with the ability to work independently.
You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and enjoy turning insights into practical improvements.
You are a team player with a hands-on attitude and a passion for fostering a positive safety culture.
