Job Description

Wellness Assistants provide a range of general, clinical, and staff support to the operation of the CFHL. Greets each customer, manages membership software, and supervises individuals in the facility ensuring safety of participants.

Department: Fitness Center

Hours: PRN (as needed) This is not health benefit eligible

Required: High School Diploma and BLS with in 90 days of hire.

Pay: Based on experience, starting at $17.79 an hour

Responsibilities

Answers all incoming telephone calls and addresses needs of callers in a friendly manner., Assists with Wellness Screening Events., Demonstrates personal and professional growth by acquiring new skills and knowledge to adapt to changing CFHL needs., Greets participants with a positive attitude as they enter and leave the CFHL and sees that only authorized users are allowed access to the facility., Maintains cleanliness of reception area and fitness center by disinfecting equipment and cleaning per protocol. Performs supply inventory, orders office supplies, replaces linens, and other operational tasks., Manages membership software by scheduling appointments, checking-in participants, and processing transactions/payments., Performs Vital Sign Checks for fitness members pre and post execise., Provides general assistance to serve the needs of participants including answering basic questions regarding facility operation., Supervises individuals in the facility ensuring a safe environment is maintained and applies knowledge of exercise and fitness equipment safety.

Requirements

High School (Required)BLS or CPR certification (within 90 days of hire) - Sarah Bush Lincoln

Estimated Compensation Range

$17.79 - $27.57
