Responsibilities
Event Work:
- Maintain and update attendee lists, assist in nametag creation, and conduct post-event data entry and coding.
- Pack/unpack event supplies and equipment.
- Support the coordination of event logistics such as catering orders, room layouts, and supply needs in collaboration with professional staff.
- Provide onsite support during event setup, execution, and teardown.
- Clerical functions (copying, collating, word processing, filing, answering phones, etc.)
- Distribute mail to events team members.
- Maintain storage areas to keep equipment in its proper location and inventory levels are met.
- Make on-campus deliveries of event materials and documents as needed.
- Assist with managing the inventory of event supplies, including tracking stock levels, organizing storage areas, and identifying reordering needs.
- Ensure all supplies and equipment are returned, stored properly, and maintained in event-ready condition.
- Occasional night and weekend opportunities.

Required Education, Experience and Benefits Summary

- Purdue University Student
- Prefer Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) students
