Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking a Temporary Director of Wellness and Longevity to lead the strategic, operational, and experiential direction of our renowned Center for Health & Wellbeing. This role oversees a multidisciplinary team in fitness, spa, medical, and life balance services, driving innovation, profitability, and an integrated guest experience rooted in luxury wellness. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with strong business acumen, a passion for wellbeing, and the ability to inspire a high-performing team while upholding the values of the Four Seasons brand.
What you will do
Be an essential part of an integrated health and wellbeing team that provides comprehensive fitness, medical, nutritional, life balance and spa services.
Interface with all relevant team members of wellness, Four Seasons, and medical to ensure strategic alignment, seamless guest experience (including pre-work distribution and follow-up), and effective use of resources.
Responsible for full business and operational needs of the Center for Health and Wellbeing.
Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and meeting annual goals.
Responsible for Sales, Marketing & PR leadership within the Center for Health and Wellbeing brand within Four Seasons standards.
Participate in the development and support of strategic business and marketing plan to drive better business results; including analysis of current trends, marketplace conditions and economic influences; support of social media and website initiatives.
Responsible for organizational development, coaching, leadership and continued growth of the health and wellness team.
What you bring
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred with emphasis in health, wellness, business, marketing or communications.
Experience: 6 or more years of managerial and operational experience in a high volume, luxury-oriented hotel or resort spa and/or membership-based fitness facility.
Strategic & Financial Acumen: Able to think long-term, analyze financial performance, drive profitability, and apply yield management in the luxury wellness space.
Operational Excellence: Highly organized with a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset; skilled at leading cross-functional teams and managing complex operations.
People & Culture Leadership: Strong communicator and mentor; leads with empathy and promotes a people-first, Golden Rule culture across all levels.
Compliance & Industry Knowledge: Must have or obtain HIPAA and ServSafe certifications; brings expertise in wellness, medical, and hospitality standards with excellent business communication skills.
Successful candidate must posses legal work authorization in the United States
