Summary of Job Duties:

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, distribution, and tracking of supplies, equipment, and materials used throughout the university. This position supports daily operations by conducting inventory audits for all departments campus wide and off campus.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Abilities, and Skill Levels Required:
Knowledge of inventory control procedures and warehouse operations. Organizational and time-management abilities.
Must be able to pull, push, & lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift 50 or more pounds regularly. Ability to work in warehouse environments with varying temperatures.
Must have valid Arkansas driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to operate warehouse equipment safely.
Effective verbal and written communication skills with faculty, staff, students, and vendors. Attention to detail and accuracy.
