Test Engineering Ops Engineer
Job Description
As a Test Solutions Engineering – Test Manufacturing Operation Engineer (Module or Component) at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for the NPI / Engineering operation support, improvement, and qualification of NPI, Test Program or operation problems in NPI and HVM manufacturing.
You will work with Manufacturing, Test Engineering, Process Engineering, QA, and other cross functional central team resources to specify, develop, optimize, integrate, and qualify new and existing systems for manufacturing process. You will aid in the local Test Manufacturing with the aim at enabling new technology, reducing overall cost, increase yield, reliability, safety, test time reduction and optimize product manufacturing quality.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Drive investigation on Yield toggle due to program bug but not process drift.
- Support First of A Kind (FOAK) new hardware qualification – Burn In Board, Oven CSB, Tester, MOBO.
- Legacy Device support – Return Material Authorization, Yield, Capacity.
- Rescreen program support for NPI and Manufacturing production.
- Test Time cut schedule update by TSE Test Engineering.
- Test Time, Retest ratio and performance to plan tracking.
- New product proliferation test result review and analysis usuing AI.
- Support logistic help to locate physical lot, merge lot, return lot, engineering lot load into equipment for Testing.
- Support to Site audit.
- Production support Test operation (daily production issue that related to test program)
- Responsible for NPI stage commit to module yield, DRAM Burn/ATE, Module MOBO retest rate.
- AMHS (Automated Material Handling System) support (test program release checkout, debugging, and test result review / analysis using AI)
- Identify and determine origin of deviation, isolate cause and provide solutions with systematic application of 8D and Problem Solving and Decision Making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering or any related engineering field.
- Working and hands-on technical knowledge of Backend manufacturing test handler equipment and processes is preferred.
- Minimum 2-year experiences in backend equipment maintenance/engineering area.
- Good understanding of equipment mechanical/electrical fundamental such as: electronics circuit, infra-structure, mechanical function and the reliability of the equipment.
- Test process / Test Program language for equipment SEC/GEMS / GPIB / IS (Information System) communication protocol.
- Excellent in problem analytical and decision-making ability is required.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools: Decision Analysis, RA (Risk Assessment), FMEA (Failure Mode Effective Analysis) and change management process.
- Good programming skills; C/C++ knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux environment will be an added advantage.
