Costing Engineer

Are you passionate about turning complex data into better business decisions?

Frontmatec is looking for a Costing Engineer to play a key role in strengthening our costing and pricing capabilities across Meat Solutions Europe.

This position is critical to ensuring accurate cost calculations, competitive pricing, and profitable project execution. You will work closely with Finance, Operations, Engineering, Sales, and Project Management, helping the business understand cost drivers and improve commercial decision-making.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain costing models for projects, equipment, and solutions.
• Analyze material, labor, and manufacturing costs.
• Support quotation and sales activities with accurate costing data.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and cost optimization initiatives.
• Drive transparency around cost structures and profitability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business functions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of costing processes and tools.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience within costing, engineering, manufacturing, project business, finance, or a similar field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Fluent in Danish and English.

This role offers a hybrid working environment. While many of your closest colleagues and stakeholders are based in Southern Denmark, you will collaborate with teams across our European organization.
