Description
We are looking for a Korean-English bilingual professional based in India to support the project team with document
translation and in-person training delivery at the client's location in South Korea.
Key Responsibilities
● Translate project documents from English to Korean, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), training
manuals, SOPs, and user guides
● Ensure translated content is technically accurate and contextually appropriate for a Korean corporate audience
● Deliver online and in-person end-user and client-facing training sessions in South Korea in coordination with the
India-based project team
● Develop Korean-language training materials (presentations, quick-reference guides, handouts) alongside the
project team and serve as a language bridge during client calls or review meetings when required
● Provide feedback on localization gaps and suggest improvements to communication material
Required Qualifications
● Korean language proficiency: TOPIK Level 5 or 6, or equivalent native / near-native fluency
● Strong English proficiency - written and spoken (B2/C1 minimum)
● Prior experience in technical document translation (IT, SaaS, FMCG, or retail domain preferred)
● Experience conducting corporate training or workshops and the ability to manage a room independently
● Valid Indian passport; no travel restrictions to South Korea
● Ability to commit to travel on short notice (2–4 weeks advance) as per project requirements
Nice to Have
● Background in retail, FMCG, CPG, or SFA/field force tools
● Prior experience working with Indian technology companies or cross-border teams
● Familiarity with Korean business etiquette and corporate communication norms
This is a part-time / freelance engagement. The resource will primarily work remotely from India, collaborating with the
ParallelDots project team over email, Slack, and video calls. Travel to South Korea for training sessions will be planned in
advance and covered by the company (flights, accommodation, per diem).
