New Licensed Practical Nurse up to $30/hr in Osoyoos BC

New LPC Job in LTC !

We are now hiring Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)  for senior living homes in Osoyoos. Our client provides a competitive compensation package and this is a 6-month full time contract. Current certificate of registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses BC and be able to provide a copy of the nursing license to indicate good standing.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

• Utilize sound nursing practice principles and Provide nursing care in accordance with policy, physician's orders, the resident plan of care

• Identify the needs of residents and develop and maintain appropriate care plans 

• Ensure a timely and accessible admission for the residents

• Ensure the supply, control and safe keeping of drugs and narcotics, ensure protocols are followed on all assigned shifts

• LPN - Diploma in Practical Nursing, current registration as LPN with the College of Nurses BC

• Sound nursing knowledge in geriatric care and nursing administration

• Knowledge of the requirements of the Nursing Home Act and Regulations, the appropriate sections of the Health Disciplines Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Pharmacy Act, Food & Drug Act
