Job SummaryWe seek a dedicated and knowledgeable Instructor to join the Special Friend Community Center team. The candidate must have knowledge of the subject area and demonstrate a passion for teaching and mentoring students. This role requires the ability to create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive learning environment, and assess student progress effectively.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.Deliver engaging lectures and facilitate discussions to enhance student understanding.Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and projects.Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.Collaborate with colleagues to improve instructional strategies and share best practices.Stay current with developments in the field of education and integrate new methodologies into teaching practices.ExperienceAn Associate or Bachelor's degree as a Medical Assistant, LPN, or Diploma in the relevant subject area is preferred.Previous teaching or instructional or clinical/hospital experience is highly desirable.Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with students and staff.Minimum two years experience in phlebotomy, EKG, IVs, laboratory procedures, OSHA, front office administration, and computer skills.Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.Proficiency in using educational technology and tools to enhance learning experiences.We invite qualified candidates passionate about education to apply for this rewarding opportunity as an Instructor
