Description
A Continental CDP is responsible for managing a kitchen—such as grill, sauce, pasta, or cold kitchen—and ensuring high-quality preparation of Continental dishes. The role requires strong culinary skills, leadership abilities, and knowledge of breakfast buffet.
🔪 Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook Continental dishes according to standard recipes.
Manage kitchen operations .
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet hotel standards.
Supervise and train Commis chefs and kitchen helpers.
Maintain hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP compliance).
Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering ingredients.
Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items.
Coordinate with Head Chef for smooth kitchen operations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
Control food costs and minimize wastage.
