We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Logistics Manager. Position Overview:We are looking for a talented and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee our construction logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management, as well as a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and a strong understanding of construction processes. This position requires a detail-oriented, proactive, and organized individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:• Develop and maintain an efficient and effective logistics strategy for all construction projects• Plan and coordinate all transport and delivery activities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials and equipment• Monitor and manage inventory levels of materials and equipment, ensuring adequate supply at all times• Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating prices and terms for materials and equipment purchases• Oversee logistics team, providing leadership, training, and support to ensure optimal performance• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs• Coordinate with project managers and other departments to ensure smooth and timely project execution• Resolve any logistical issues or delays that may arise during construction projects• Monitor and track project and logistics expenses to ensure budget compliance Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field• Proven experience in logistics management, preferably in the construction industry• Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles and best practices• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment• Valid driver's license and clean driving recordSalary: $120,000-$150,000 per year Why Work for Us:At D & S Construction Group LLC, we value our employees and strive to create a positive and supportive work environment.
